Dropped or lost your smartphone? Hopefully, you had it Backed up!

The trend of losing or breaking smartphones

Did you know that there are more ways to lose your most precious files and memories than to protect them? People keep these files primarily on their smartphones or laptops which are vulnerable to a wide range of incidents- from technical malfunction and drive disk crashes to actually losing the device.

In 2021, iPhones, iPads, and Macbooks were one of the most stolen IoT devices, being largely in demand due to their popularity and high pricing.

Losing our belongings is always frustrating and painful from sentimental and financial perspectives. But what if your most important information gets lost forever in this scenario?

Dangers of personal information misused

Information is assertively labeled as our most valuable asset nowadays. Whoever has access to important information, can manipulate it or make important decisions based on data.

But what if our Privacy is compromised at the hands of violators?

How can we protect ourselves? The harsh reality is that once lost, your smartphone or laptop would probably be hacked and rebooted to the factory stage or sold to someone else. Apple has a way of blacklisting devices and forever blocking them, making them completely useless even for the person who finds (if lost) or steals them.

Backup your devices periodically

Backing up your laptop or smartphone is a no-brainer. You would be surprised to know that many people, whose devices were stolen, did not actually have subscriptions to some of the most convenient and native services like iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, or pCloud.

You can Backup those photos and videos you love so much to an external drive or a home PC as well. Some people reportedly do it very often. However, cloud storage seems to solve all concerns and issues one might have:

  • Files are accessible anywhere you go, anytime, from any device;
  • Stress- Free Backup of your Laptop or mobile device;
  • Losing your device will not mean you have lost your files;
  • Time-effective collaboration tools;
  • Shareable and customizable links;
  • Robust security freeing disk space;

Get your cloud storage before it’s too late. We’ve had to learn this lesson the hard way- by paying the price of personal experience.
